Artist Statement
Nina’s primary focus is within the realm of fine art with emphasis on conceptual narratives. She uses herself as the model in many of her images, taking inspiration from her favorite photographer, Cindy Sherman, from the Pictures Generation. She created this online portfolio to share her work with like-minded artists and creators that share her passion for conceptual narratives in an effort to benefit from feedback and cooperative collaboration. Nina is also deeply motivated to share her work in hopes she inspires others to create their own stories and explore the world in their own, unique way. She hopes her unique artistic expression will inspire future clients to experience a creative themed photoshoot experience that is fun and immersive, which is her specialty and favorite genre to work in!
Through careful editing and thoughtful choice, Nina has gathered this collection of images for presentation to demonstrate what she feels is a cohesive look into her artful mind and spirit. Her chosen images can be found in her Fine Art Collections tab, which she feels are the best of her collection that represent the glimpses inside her imagination, combining beautiful portraiture with her dark and surreal fantasies that push the boundaries of artistic expression.
